Film: Is Anxiety linked to SEND?

In this film, we explore if there's a link between anxiety and SEND for young people. One of our young people, Charlie, talks to an NHS specialist to find the answers to your questions.

Is there a link between having SEND and Anxiety?

Charlie is one of our young people with SEND, who was house-bound for 4 years with anxiety.

He recently met up with James, a mental health specialist in Learning Disability & Autism, who works for NHS Frimley.

James and Charlie sat down for a chat all about anxiety & mental health, and how it can affect young people with SEND differently.

Next steps

We hope this film has helped you understand your anxiety if you have SEND.

Charlie has also shared all about his personal journey with anxiety which you can watch in this film here.

And James very kindly has answered lots of your anxiety questions, which you can check out here.

We’d also like to thank Charlie’s family and Coffee Barker in Bracknell for their help and support in making this film.
